LAPLACE

CASE STUDY

CHALLENGE

Laplace graduated from the Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires with a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urbanism in 1995 and after a few years at Seldorf Architects in Argentina, moved to New York from 1999 to 2004.  In 2006, Laplace founded his own architecture and design firm with partner Christophe Comoy to provide a full range of services in both commercial and residential spheres. Conjugating styles derived from eras past and present, Laplace are known for creating distinctively timeless spaces in which design is defined to enhance art collections. Their sophisticated yet intimate architecture and interiors have earned the practice a discerning clientele of art collectors, artists and gallery owners. IC Insight Communications was appointed by Luis and Christophe in early 2018 to handle their press and public relations activities worldwide. The personal affinity of agency owner Jasmine Spezie for contemporary art, design and luxury goods, as well as her team’s network and expertise within these spheres of activity, gave Luis Laplace and Christophe Comoy the confidence that the agency was best placed to convey their message and create added value and visibility in their target market.

OUR WORK

We developed and implemented an international media relations strategy that focused on prominent features and portraits in top-tier publications, from art, design and decoration, to lifestyle titles. We conducted regular one-on-one meetings and interviews with Luis Laplace and top editors, making sure that the latter were appraised of new projects. We also worked on interesting partnerships.

RESULTS

Thanks to our network within the worlds of art, design and lifestyle, as well as our in-depth understanding of the media landscape and challenges, we were able to secure high impact publications in the most relevant international titles. We ensured that Laplace is always top-of-mind and recognized as a multi-dimensional architect and interior designer who has an exceptional ability to interpret the relationship between architecture and art and to create bespoke projects.
